My First Try at Making Sushi

I gathered fresh raw fish, sticky rice, and seaweed sheets, eager to make sushi. Spreading the rice evenly on the nori, I added slices of salmon and cucumber. Rolling it up tightly was tricky, but with practice, I managed to form decent - looking rolls. Cutting them into pieces, I was proud of my creation, though the shapes were a bit uneven. Dipping the sushi in soy sauce and wasabi, I enjoyed the fruits of my labor, a delicious introduction to Japanese cuisine.
